Father, I give You my anxious heart.

Verse of the Day

“But I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, “You are my God!” – In your unfailing love, rescue me.”  Psalms 31:14, 16 (NLT)

Prayer

Dearest Abba Father, thank You for leading me into a place of rest. Today I surrender my brokenness to You and open my heart to receive Your healing so You can restore my soul. Father, thank You for Your favor, strength and mercy. Today I renounce fear and choose to trust in Your plan of victory. Thank You for filling me with Your peace and joy and for keeping me close to You.

Gracious Father, where else can I go? Who on earth can console me like You can. I cry out to You Oh Lord. Comfort me, console me, return my soul to joy.  Father, I give You my anxious heart. Forgive me for believing so many lies. Help me change my core beliefs and bring them in line with Your word. Today I choose faith and bring all my anxieties to You. Pick me up, Lord, and hold me in Your loving arms. Protect me from the pressures of the day, and remove the heaviness from my heart. Inspire me with the knowledge that You and I together can handle anything. Give me the confidence that I need today to release my fears to You. Thank you for Your promise to protect us in time of danger. Help me to put my trust in You and as Elisha of old, may I have that total confidence in You that he showed to his servant.

Dear God, today I’m reminded that this earth belongs to you, every bit of it. You created it. You care for it. You have redeemed it. And someday you will renew it. I thank you for the gift of this world, for its beauty and bounty. Even though sin has stained this world, it has not erased the clear evidence of your creative mastery. Help me, dear Lord, to honor you by taking care of the world and its people. May I see everything and every person in this world as belonging to you. Teach me to look upon this earth with your eyes. Help me to do all of my work for you and your purposes. To you be all the glory. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Bible Promise of the Day

My name is a strong tower that you can run to and find safety. God Promises His Name is a Strong Tower

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. – (Proverbs 18:10)

Prayer Quote of the day

Prayer is not intended to change God’s purpose, nor is it to move Him to form fresh purposes. God has decreed that certain events shall come to pass through the means He has appointed for their accomplishment.
