Prayer
O God of Life and Love, you have filled our hearts with joy unspeakable. We thank you that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life, and that those who believe in Jesus shall never die. He lives, and they live, and we live! We thank You, we praise You, we bless You this hour.
My dearest Abba Father, if rain may come to-day, may I realize its help, with the power of the sun, to increase life; and may its influence be sweet and wholesome to me, as I learn that sadness is temporary and will disappear with the coming of gladness. May I go search for the joy that may be mine to-day.
So often I am haunted by problems and concerns, Lord. Lift their weight from my shoulders and allow me to rest. Teach me today to learn to be content in You. Help me to realize that contentment comes through the going through the tough valleys in life. Thank You for teaching me daily as I read Your word and communicate to You through prayer.
Abba Father, I come to You with an open and humble heart. I thank You for the victory that You have in store for me even when I can’t see it. I choose to trust You and Your goodness, knowing that You are faithful. I submit this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
