May our hearts yearn to know you more each day

Verse of the Day,

But you, OLORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high– Psalm 3:3 (NLT)

Prayer

Abba Father, thank You for Your favor and blessing on my life. Today I choose to be diligent. I choose to live in excellence and do everything to the best of my ability. I give You all the glory and honor O Father.

Thank You for teaching me to glory in my tribulations so that I can produce in my life perseverance, character and hope. Give me the fortitude to be the leader You want me to be with my family, friends and neighbors. May they all see in me Your love for them so that they may have a personal relationship with You.

Elohim, Creator, Master of the Universe, all glory be to you for you have created all things. Indeed, you have created us in your image, endowing us with creative abilities. As I do my work today, Lord, may I exercise the creative gifts you have given me. May I do so in a way that honors your lordship, enhances the goodness in this world, and contributes to your purposes. Thank you, Lord, for making yourself known to us. Thank you for using words that convey to us who you are and what you have done. Thank you for the confidence we can have in our knowledge of you.

Help us, we pray, to grow in our knowledge of you. May we know you more truly and fully. May we know you more deeply and personally. May our hearts yearn to know you more each day.  Lord, and I pray that You help me to continue to grow, and that You might use me to help others in their growth. Grant this, we request You, O merciful Father, through Jesus Christ, our Mediator and Redeemer. Amen.

Bible Promise of the Day

If you wait for Me, I will renew your strength. God Promises that He will renew our strength when we wait on Him.

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
