Thank You for Your goodness to me

Verse of the Day

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.– Acts 4:12 (NLT)

Prayer

Gracious Father, You alone are the just and faithful God! Thank You for always providing for me. Thank You for leading and guiding me. I trust that You have good things in store for my future and choose to keep my eyes on You. Abba Father, we thank you for making this world to be full of beauty and for making us with the ability to perceive it. We thank you for wonderful gifts of your grace! Even as we do not overlook the pain and ugliness in our fallen world, may we continue to see the beauty that remains. May we thank you for it and be inspired by it. May the beauty you have made give us joy. And may our delight in this beauty give you joy.

Father God, today I humbly come to You. I choose to cast my cares on You so that I can live in Your rest. Thank You for Your goodness to me. Help me find ways to share Your goodness with those around me today. Help me to see a brighter future for my world, O Lord. I get discouraged when it seems like evil triumphs so much of the time. Show me the good, Father. I understand that the only way to avoid the traps of deception is to avoid evil dealings altogether. Make me to walk in the way of righteousness, always acting toward others as I try to act toward You

Lord, may my heart be mindful that I may discover the truth and possess it. Steady me in my affections and save me from wandering impulses; and may I help to put wrong down and uplift humanity. Through Jesus Christ, we say this prayer. Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

I will be with you. God promises that He will be with you in your difficult times.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze (Isaiah 43:2)

Prayer Quote of the day

Intercessory prayer for one who is sinning prevails. God says so! The will of the man prayed for does not come into question at all, he is connected with God by prayer, and prayer on the basis of the Redemption sets the connection working and God gives life.
