Give me godly incite to discern what is evil and what is good

Verse of the Day

Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant.– Matthew 20:26b (NLT)

Prayer

Gracious heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. Today, I choose to cast my cares on You, I choose to release the weight of my burdens to You. Thank You for setting me free and aligning me to walk in victory in every area of my life. Father,, thank You for Your Word which lights my path and directs my way. I choose to put You first place. I choose to meditate on Your Word, knowing that You are leading me in Your paths of life.

Abba Father, may we learn from your Word, from each other, from those with traditional wisdom, and from your indwelling Spirit. Lord, give me godly incite to discern what is evil and what is good. Give me the strength to resist the temptations that Satan uses to draw me to evil. Keep me diligent in testing everything so that I avoid evil and hold on to the good. Make my life shine in a way today to allow others fighting spiritual allergies to see Christ in and through me

Lord, may my life not primarily be formed by the demands of my work, the expectations of my culture, or the urgings of my feelings. Rather, may my life be formed by you, by your example, by your truth. Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. Thank you also that my work can be a way of worshiping you. May I offer you my work today, every bit of it. No matter what I do, may I seek to honor you in it. May my work contribute to your greater work in this world. Father in heaven, I choose to bless You at all times. I choose to set the tone to receive Your favor, grace and mercy. Thank You for Your faithfulness at all times. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

I will show mercy to those who are merciful to others. God Promises that He will show mercy to the merciful

And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: “Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.” (Matthew 5:7)

Prayer Quote of the day

Prayer in the sense of petition, asking for things, is a small part of it; confession and penitence are its threshold, adoration its sanctuary, the presence and vision and enjoyment of God its bread and wine.
