Thank You for Your Word which is truth and water to my soul.

Verse of the Day

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.-1 Peter 5:7 (NLT)

Prayer

Dearest Abba, Father,  thank You for giving me abundant life through Jesus Christ. I believe that You have a good plan for my future. I proclaim that my days of thriving have begun as I continue to put my faith and trust in You alone. Lord, I love You so much today. Thank You for Your Word which is truth and water to my soul. Search me, know me and guide me in the way that I should go as I stay focused on You and planted in Your Word

Thank You for the illustrations You have given us in Your Word as to how we can develop courage in our lives. Reassure me today that you will not only walk right beside me but that You will go before me and open all the doors for me. Help me to run today a “race” that will honor and glorify Your name. Help me to challenge my family, through my words and deeds to run our daily races anticipating the crown of victory that You will give those who run a consistent life honoring You.

Dear Lord, thank You for giving me the promise through Your Word that when I am feeling desperate and feel that no one cares for me, you are their waiting for me. All I have to do is to cast my care (desperation) upon You and You will care for me. Help me today to grasp what You say and give me the faith to accept that You are caring for me even when I am feeling total despair. Lord, help me to grow up, to be a mature Christian, one who has learned to accept disappointment and adversity. Strengthen my heart, and give me patience. Let the words of my mouth produce a joyful noise, acceptable to the Lord and glorifying Him in all ways. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the High Priest, who is interceding for me before you, I pray. Amen
