Verse of the Day
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
Dearest loving Father, thank You for loving and accepting me today. I choose to do what is right and honor You with my attitude, words and actions. Holy Spirit, show me if there is any area that isn’t pleasing to You and help me live as an example of Your goodness all the days of my life. Lord, today I choose to trust in You. I release frustration over the dreams and desires in my heart, knowing that You know what’s best for me. I choose to trust in Your timing because You are faithful, and I will bless You in all things.
Abba Father, you have made me new through Christ. You have given me multifaceted new identity. I belong, not only to you, but also to your people. I am a fellow citizen in your kingdom, a member of your family, a stone in your temple. I am deeply and inexorably bound to you and through you to your people.
Forgive us, Lord, when we fail to live as a sign of your reconciliation. So often we are divided along racial lines, as well as ethnic, national, denominational, political, and theological lines. As your church, we have often been a poor witness to the gospel unity in Christ. Give me a new dedication to serve you and use every opportunity to tell people from all cultures and ethnicity that Jesus loves them. Lord, thanks for uniting me with people who are not just like me. I have brothers and sisters who have grown up in different earthly families. I am one with people of different races, ethnicities, nationalities, politics, and denominations because of you. Help me to live in light of this truth. Help me to lead in light of this truth. Give me eyes to see what must change in myself, my workplace, my church, and my culture. Help me, Lord, to be an agent of your reconciliation in all I do. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Prayer Quote of the day
Triumphant prayer is almost impossible where there is neglect of the study of the Word of God.
