Father, thank You for speaking to me so many times.

Verse of the Day

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6 (NIV)

Prayer

Dearest Father God, I come to You today giving You all that I am. Thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus. I believe He died and rose for me, and I invite You to be the Lord of every area of my life. Lord, thank You for storing up blessings for me. I choose to honor You and bless You. I put my faith and hope in You knowing that You will amaze me with Your goodness

Sometimes I feel like my life is hopeless, Lord. It seems that I am serving out some kind of sentence. Lift that burden from me and let me experience life the way You meant for it to be. It is my prayer today that Your strength will be made perfect in my weakness. It is my desire, Lord, that through my weakness You can be glorified through all of my deeds and words. Help me to recognize my weaknesses and give me Your grace and power to overcome all my flaws this day.

Father, thank You for speaking to me so many times. Forgive me for the times I did not listen. Help me to seek Your wisdom. Help me to read Your word and to meditate on it. Most of all, might the prayer of my heart be, “Speak, Lord, Your servant is listening.”. Lord, thank You for forgiving me. Thank You for the power of the life-giving Holy Spirit that has freed me from the power of sin, guilt and shame. Help us, we pray, not to let hatred wall us off from others. If we have been hurt, we ask you to heal us. If relationships are broken, we ask you to mend them. Only you, Lord, can help us to love even our enemies. By your grace may our hearts belong to you. In your tender care, may they be filled with love and be open to others, even those who have wronged us. In Jesus’ mighty name, I Pray, Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

I will save you in the midst of your troubles. God Promises He Will Save Us From the Midst of Trouble Bible Promise

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. – (Psalm 138:7)

Prayer Quote of the day

The truth of the matter is, we all come to prayer with a tangled mass of motives altruistic and selfish, merciful and hateful, loving and bitter. Frankly, this side of eternity we will never unravel the good from the bad, the pure from the impure. God is big enough to receive us with all our mixture.
