Verse of the Day
Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 7:24-25 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest loving Father, I come humbly to You today giving You all that I am. I honor You as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Lord, thank You for ordering my steps. Thank You for divine appointments that keep me on the right path. Help me to discern the opportunities You have placed in front of me and see clearly Your hand guiding me. I bless You because You are worthy of my absolute best.
Abba Father, I thank You for opening the door for me to fellowship with You. Lead me into Your presence so I might know You more. Lord, thank you for calling each one of us to yourself, for inviting us to come to you. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for inviting us to follow you, for naming us among your disciples. There are times when you do indeed call us to go somewhere in a literal sense in order to serve you well. When this happens, Lord, may we go in obedience. At other times, you call us to a new way of living in our current setting. Help us to “go” from what is familiar to a life of greater faithfulness and service. May all I do this day, Lord, honor you and contribute to your work in the world.
Thank You for standing and knocking at the door of my heart and giving me the opportunity to receive You into my heart. Thank You for being my shepherd and watching over me and protecting me. Help me to always follow You wherever You may lead me. Fill me with a joy that remains untouched by the trials of the day. When I hear Your name, Lord, let me respond in jubilation. Be the source of my comfort and peace. Father, give me great boldness in sharing your word. Stretch out your hand with healing power and may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your son Jesus. I pray in Your Son’s precious name. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
There is a crown of righteousness waiting for everyone who loves My Son. God Promises He Will Give Us a Crown of Righteousness
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. – (2nd Timothy 4:8)
Prayer Quote of the day
The only instance of praying to saints, mentioned in the Bible, is that of the rich man in torment calling upon Abraham; and let it be remembered, that it was practised only by a lost soul and without success.
