Verse of the Day
The LORD is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. Psalms 103:8 (NLT)
Dearest Abba Father, I humbly come to You giving You all that I am. I trust that You have good things in store for my future. I choose to keep my eyes on You no matter what’s happening in my circumstances. I know that You are faithful, and I receive the blessings that You have in store for me. Lord, thank You for Your favor and blessing which is available to me each and every day. I turn my heart and mind toward You. I submit my ways to You knowing that You are faithful. I open my heart to receive everything You have in store for me. Lord, give me all the comfort and strength I need for this day.
Father, You know that I don’t always make good choices, but today, I choose You. I choose to follow You. I pray that You will help me make the right choices. I desire to know You better and pray that You will help me make the choices I need to make knowing You and following you a reality in my life. Father, forgive me for taking Your love for granted. How blinded, how self-centered I have been. Today, help me to see all the many wonderful ways You love me.
Lord, I am sometimes frightened by the challenges I am called on to face. Be with me, and let me lean upon Your strength for support. I praise you, Lord Jesus, for being the one who came to fulfill the promises of God, and, indeed, the longings of every heart. Thank you for the assurance You have given me that the Bible, Your Word, is without error, infallible and inspired. Give me the discipline to study daily Your Word so that I can learn God’s truth so that I will be equipped to do Your work. Give me leadership with my family as together we grow in our love for You. O Lord, may I experience your presence and power today! May your kingdom power pervade my life today. Fill me afresh with your Spirit. Use me for your purposes. Help me, Lord, to live each moment as a subject of the King of kings. Guide me, empower me, and use me for your purposes. May the reality of your kingdom be real in my life each and every day. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the High Priest, who is interceding for me before you, I pray. Amen
Bible Promise of the Day
God’s promises to provide safety for the righteous
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10, NKJV.
Prayer Quote of the day
Prayer is not so much an act as it is an attitude – an attitude of dependency, dependency upon God.
