Verse of the Day
We rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:2-5
Prayer
Abba Heavenly Father, today I lift my eyes to You for You are the source of my help. I believe that You have good things in store for me, and so I look for Your favor upon my life. Use me today for Your glory as I keep my heart and mind stayed on You. Today I bless and lift You up because You are worthy. I dedicate myself to You afresh and anew. Keep me close to You and help me see Your goodness as I obey Your Word and honor You in all that I do. I choose to live for You. I choose to follow you in all that I do. Guide me, direct me. Give me the strength to follow you faithfully.
Abba Father, please help me. I admit I haven’t always chosen wisely. Give me wisdom, discernment and self-discipline to make the right choices today. Most of all today, Dear Lord, I choose You. I choose to love You and live for You. Lord, I acknowledge that You are the giver of every good thing that I have. Thank You for Your mercy and grace in saving me from my sins and giving me the greatest gift of all, eternal life. Thank You for all Your many blessings that You have given me. Lord, I confess that I have fallen to the deceitfulness of sin because I have forsaken the encouragement of others. Help me not to isolate. Help me truly fellowship with other believers so I can be encouraged and then, help me encourage others.
Lord, make me appreciative of all the wonderful gifts You give. When I take things for granted, show me the error of my ways. Fill my mind and heart with gratitude for the many blessings I have. Father, how thankful we are that you speak to your people, including me. Thank you for guiding me today through your Word and by your Spirit. Thank you for giving us members of your family who can help us discern what you are saying. Help us, Lord, not to use you or your name as a way of advancing our own personal agenda. Give us humility of heart and humility of speech. May all we do and say be for your glory, not our own. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3, NKJV
Prayer Quote of the day
What does it say about our churches today that God birthed the church in a prayer meeting, and prayer meetings today are almost extinct?”
