Help me share Your message of reconciliation with others

Verse of the Day

Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.  Matthew 7:12 (NLT)

Prayer

Dearest Abba Yahweh, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I choose to honor You in all I do. I choose to acknowledge Your ways. Thank You for pouring at Your favor and blessing on me as I boldly follow Your commands. Thank You for equipping me and choosing me to be Your ambassador on earth. Help me to be Your light and use my gifts and talents to lead others to know You. Help me live in a way that those around me every day would see something in me that would lead them to You.

Abba Father, what an honor and privilege to be one of your children! Because of what Jesus did as the unique Son of God, we too can know you as our Heavenly Father. We can be assured of your love for us. And in that assurance, we can serve you with all that we are. Help me, Father, to know who I am as your beloved child. Help me to live each day in this reality, trusting in your love and serving you with freedom and joy. Father, help me share Your message of reconciliation with others. Not just with my words but with my actions. Might I represent You with real love so others may respond to Your appeal to “Come back to You.” Help me to reach out to the strangers in my world in the way that you’ve chosen, just for me. Bless my efforts to talk to strangers. Without making anyone a project, let me be willing to talk with people who are different from me, as you bring them into my life. Let my interactions be “natural and normal” and let them glorify you.

Lord, thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit. Fill me today with that power—the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. In all that I do this day help me to depend on Your leading and not on my own understanding. Help me today to learn more about trusting You. May each one in my family learn what it means to depend on You. Help me to accept the fact that bad things happen to good people, and that bad people are often prosperous. I may not like it now, but I need to keep in mind that one day each of us will receive exactly what he deserves. In Christ’s name I pray, Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

I know what you need before you even ask.  God Promises He Knows Our Needs
