Be the source of my peace, Lord

Verse of the Day

But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.  Psalms 86:15 (NLT)

Prayer

Dearest Abba Father, today I receive Your Words of life, strength and encouragement. I choose to see myself the way You see me. I choose to walk in the way that You have prepared for me. Thank You for loving me and filling me with Your joy and peace. I choose today to believe Your Word over the words of others. You are the one who defines my life. Search my heart; search my mind. Show me any areas where I need to be renewed to Your Word.

Dear God, I confess my lack of spiritual knowledge. I have not taken the time I should to really know You. I haven’t been real with You nor have I let You be real with me. But today, I want to start. I want to know You, really know You. I want to hear Your voice. I want to sense Your presence in my life. I want Your scriptures to come alive in my mind. Help me know You.  .  Thank you, Father, for using me to be a witness of the new life that is found in Christ. Thank you that you are a God who cares for us deeply. Father, I am tired of the furious pace of the world. Sometimes I just want to run and hide. Allow me to run to You. Be the source of my peace, Lord

Thank you, almighty God, for inviting us to the abundance of your house. Thank you for stocking your shelves with that which we love. We know, Lord, that we should want to be with you simply for fellowship. But the fact that you bless us so richly draws us to you. Lord, teach us to feed regularly from your abundance. Help us to visit you often, to spend time with you, to sample your delights. As we call you Lord today, we acknowledge once again your lordship, your sovereignty over all things, including us. We offer ourselves to you, all that we do and all that we are. May you be glorified in us. May you work through us to accomplish your purpose. We belong to you and bow before you, Lord. All praise be to you, God of abundance, for your innumerable gifts to your people. Jesus, I present my prayer in Your precious name before my God, Father in heaven. Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

One day, I will wipe away every tear and take away all your pain. God Promises He Will One Day Wipe Away Every Tear

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.-Revelation 21:4

Prayer Quote of the day

It is not the mouth that is the main thing to be looked at in prayer, but whether the heart is so full of affection and earnestness in prayer with God, that it is impossible to express their sense and desire; for then a man desires indeed, when his desires are so strong, many, and mighty, that all the words, tears, and groans that can come from the heart, cannot utter them.
