Prayer
My Dearest loving Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I trust that You are working in the background on my behalf. Give me Your strength and peace today and fill me with Your faith that overcomes. Lord, today I give You my questions, frustrations, concerns and doubts. Have Your way in me. I trust that You are at work in every difficult situation in my life. Lord, thank You for Your precious promise that if I ask for wisdom, that You will give it to me. I need Your guidance. I desire understanding. Help me today to have all the wisdom I need.
Father, I am often hampered by lies I choose to believe instead of believing Your word. I have wounds, hurts, scars that have left me believing the wrong things. I need you to heal me. Lord, come visit my pain. Speak truth to my heart. Heal me. Set me free to believe the truth of Your love for me. Remove from me a malicious and gossiping nature, Lord. Fill me with praise and joy and spiritual thoughts. Let my words bless others with kindness and love. May our family be ready to preach the good news of the gospel and not be ashamed of what we believe. May the world around us today be alerted to what we believe and may we share what we believe with all who will listen.
Abba Father, thank you for all the awesome promises in Your word! Thank you for the fact that you are our God right now, and we are your children. Yet, thank you for the promise that one day we will experience this relationship in a whole, new way. Thank you for claiming us, loving us, saving us, and adopting us as your children. May we live today in light of this truth and in the hope of our future with you. Lord, thank you for the astounding inheritance you have prepared for us. Thank you for choosing to include us in your work, both in this age and in the age to come. Help us, Lord, to live each day in light of the future. Help us to care about the things of this world, stewarding them well for your purposes. May all we do in life honor you. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
