Prayer
My Dearest loving Father, thank You for Your hand of blessing in my life today. I open my heart to You and trust that You have a good plan for me. Give me a heart filled with faith and hope to believe for every promise You have for me. I humbly come to You and surrender every area of my heart and life. I ask that You pour out Your favor and blessing on me so that I can be a greater blessing to others. Father, forgive me for worrying. I have not trusted You. Today, I bring You my burden and give thanks for all You have done. Fill me with Your peace I pray.
Lord, You know how discontent I get. I complain about the situations I am in and constantly strive for a different future. Meanwhile, precious days go by. Lord, be with me when I am so low that I don’t even feel like eating or sleeping. Grant me peace and comfort in Your love, and if that is slow in coming, help me to learn all I can from my despair. Help me to live today with full awareness of Your presence. Help me get everything You have for me today. Help me to be content in You, I pray. Give me today a new ambition to serve You humbly and faithfully every day of my life. Help me to teach my family to have ambition to be the best they can be for the Lord. Help us as a family, as we study Your Word together, give You the glory and to be humbly grateful for the successes You have given each of us.
Almighty God, you are indeed the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. You are before all things and after all things. You are the initiator of all things and in you all things will finally be renewed and ordered. All praise be to you, Alpha and Omega! Since you hold all of history in your hands, this means you also hold me and my life in your hands. Help me, Lord, to surrender to your tender and trustworthy strength. May I have confidence that you will guide my life in the best ways if I seek you and follow you. Be the Alpha and Omega, Lord, of my life. To you be all the glory! We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen
