Prayer
My Dearest loving Father, thank You for the dreams You have given me. Today I will take steps toward seeing them come to pass. Help me to set goals and map out steps for victory so that I know where I’m going and how to accomplish my dreams. Today I come boldly to You. I open my heart and mind to Your Word. Fill me with Your strength today; fill me with Your hope, and keep me close to You always as I put You first in everything I do. Bless my path, O Lord. I thank You that I never have to walk alone. You are by my side, and I have opportunities to share my life journey with so many others. I come today and put my trust in You. You are my God and I know that my future is in Your hands
Father, You know me. I come now and lay my fears at Your feet. Heal me, help me, I pray. Thank You for being my Rock and my strength as I walk through my valleys and over my mountains each day. Help me to rely more on You each day so that you can use me to the fullest. Give me the strength and commitment to be the rock in my family. Bless my family and help us as a family to praise You daily. Forgive me, Lord, when I displace you. Help me, I pray, to give myself completely to you, even and especially when my life is engaging, challenging, and demanding. May my devotion to you give shape to my life and guide me each day in all I do. I can be my own worst enemy, Lord. Help me to overcome the things in my life that make me less than I can be. Use me in whatever way You can
Lord, You often ask us to do the exact opposite of what seems logical. Sometimes, I feel uncomfortable with the way You lead. I want to trust that Your way is best for me. Forgive me for holding grudges. Show me the next step I should take toward reconciliation—whether it’s with one person or a group of people—and let me be brave enough to follow Your direction. I commit my life to You, in this day and all the days to come. Let my life bring you glory, and let it cultivate an environment in which oneness and unity can flourish. May my life give all glory, honor, and praise to you. In the precious name of our savior and Lord Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.
