Prayer
Dearest loving Abba Father, I humbly come to You today. Thank You for receiving me just as I am. I choose to focus on Your goodness and believe You have so much more in store for me. I honor You and bless You in all that I do. Thank You for Your grace and provision. I trust that even when I can’t see how things will work out, You will bring increase in unexpected ways. Help me keep my eyes on You, Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. Thank You for providing streams in the desert. Thank You for refreshing me in the wilderness. Thank You for providing all my needs according to Your riches in glory as I stand in faith and stay faithful to You. Thank You for the invincible and unexplainable power which You have placed within me through Christ. My deepest desire today is to be confident in Your power.
Gracious Father, thank You for being merciful, compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. Help me to be the same way toward myself. I know that I have done wrong and am in desperate need for forgiveness. I want to know You personally and become Your child. Thank You for the death of Your son Jesus on the cross for me. Come into my heart and be my ruler. I accept Jesus as the sacrifice for my sins. Thank You for forgiving me and making me Your child. Lord, thank You for giving me the ability to honor You with my body. Help me to take care of my body and make it a stronger and healthier temple for You. I need Your strength. I need Your power, I need Your heart, in order to love in the way You love. Help me to love all those that come my way today. Help me make love a priority in my life.
Thank You, Jesus, for dying on the cross so that ALL my sins can be forgiven. Take my heart and draw me to Yourself even now. Surround me in Your love and forgiveness while I wait on You. Help me to really know and appreciate Your love and forgiveness, in all of its fullness, throughout this day. Father, I thank You that You are my light and my salvation. Help me to be a bright light for You, shining in a dark world. Guide me in the coaching of my family and Friends that they may understand the difference between the light and the darkness of this world. Help them to know that Jesus is our light and sin is darkness. Help me to guide them to walk as followers of light. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
