Prayer
My Dearest loving Abba Father, thank You for loving and accepting me today. I choose to honor You with my attitude, words and actions. Holy Spirit, show me how to live as an example of Your goodness all the days of my life. Thank You for freedom for all. Thank You for loving me and making me in Your image. Today I choose to hit the delete button on negative thinking. I declare what You say about me so I can walk and live the life that You have prepared for me. I know that when I keep my mind stayed on You, I will find peace in the midst of the storm. Thank You for giving me the answers I need and for being my help in troubled times. Thank You for Your peace that rules my heart. I choose Your peace today and thank You for guiding my every step. I choose to be thankful today and bless You for Your faithfulness.
Abba Father, it is so easy to wander from You. Forgive me. Help me to escape today from all that entraps me. Help me break away from all that has taken my heart from You. I come to You now, dear Lord. I want to follow You. Lord help me grow deep in my knowledge of You. Help me build my life on You and Your word so that my faith will be strong. Today I bring you my fears. I give them to you and take instead Your love, power and the assurance of a sound mind. May it be so Lord. When I get discouraged in my faith, Lord, turn me back to You, that I might know Your truth. Do not let me be swayed by false teachings that sound so appealing. Protect me with Your love.
Dear Father, how I desire the same thing Jesus wanted for me. I want to be in You. I want a deep, personal, spiritual relationship with You. Help me to continue to praise You today no matter what the day may bring. May my praising You whether even by humming a song or speaking an encouraging word to others bring honor to You and bless Your name. Forgive us for our poor and self-defeating choices in our life. Help us, we pray, to choose life rather than death. I pray for my friends and family who feel caught in a life of excessive busyness. They know they are hurting their souls, but they aren’t sure how to make things better. Give them wisdom, Lord. Speak to their minds and hearts. Show them a way out, a way to a better life, a life of true relationship with you. Lord, I praise You today for Your goodness to me. You are a great God and worthy of all praise. Help me to lead my family in praising You each day. I ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen
