Turn my darkness into light, O Lord

Verse of the Day

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it.– Psalm 139:13-14 (NLT)

Prayer

Our loving Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace and mercy. Thank You for the good plan You have for my life. Lord, thank You for victory that overcomes the world. Thank You for giving me hope in my final outcome. I choose to cast my cares on You today, I choose to rejoice, I choose to speak Your Word as I celebrate the good things You have in store for me

Lord God, Maker of all things, and Lord and Giver of Life, we are grateful that you have made us to be your living image bearers. Thank you for making us human and for intending us to be fully alive in our work. We confess that we have often worshipped less worthy gods in our work. We have made ultimate what you have made good. We have become less than fully human by elevating to gods the good things that you’ve created. Rather than worshipping you, we have “served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.” (Romans 1:25b) Forgive us. Restore us. Renew and remake your living image in us and in our daily life.

Turn my darkness into light, O Lord, and guide me away from things that are sinful and wrong. Teach me to love my neighbors rather than judge them. Let me cast love and peace, instead of stones. Help me choose my friends and companions wisely so that I can continue to move forward in the destiny You have for me in. We ask this in Jesus’ name, for your glory, and for the good of the world you’ve entrusted into our care. Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

Test God, see if He will bless you with more than you can hold. God Promises blessings

‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. ‘And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,’ says the Lord of hosts.”  Malachi 3:10-11, NKJV.

Prayer Quote of the day

God speaks through a variety of means. In the present God primarily speaks by the Holy Spirit, through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church.
