Verse of the Day
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.– Ephesians 6:10 (NLT)
Prayer
Gracious God, I bless You and praise You today because You are good! Thank You for Your good and precious promises. I submit my ways to You; I surrender my will to You knowing that You are working in my life. Thank You for fighting my battles as I keep myself in covenant with You. Teach me to establish time daily to meditate in Your presence. I can get sidetracked from the really important things, Lord. Help me to remain steadfast concerning Your work and Gospel. Set my priorities as You would have them.. May this be a time for me to grow in my love to You and a time for You to equip me to be Your servant to this sinful and cruel world.
Abba Father, may I comprehend the sacredness of friendship. I thank thee for my friends, and for all the beautiful influences which they bring to my life. May I never hold friendship without the sincerity to return it. Correct my faults, and cause me to learn the secret of cheerful endurance, that I may be steadfast. May our self-life be crucified with Christ, that His life may be manifest in us; and out of the grave may there spring a more complete resemblance to our Risen Savior, so that all may see in us daily evidence of the Resurrection of our Lord.
Everlasting Father, thank You for loving me today and for always being with me. Help me to understand Your love more so that I may know You better. Let Your love flow through me so that others may see Your goodness and come to know You as their Father also. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. (2nd Thessalonians 3:3)
Prayer Quote of the day
If we with earnest effort could succeed To make our life one long, connected prayer, As lives of some, perhaps, have been and are; If, never leaving Thee, we have no need Our wandering spirits back again to lead Into Thy presence, but continued there Like angels standing on the highest stair Of the Sapphire Throne: this were to pray indeed!
