I bless You and praise You for who You are

Verse of the Day

For the Scriptures say, “‘As surely as I live,’ says the LORD, ‘every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to God.’”– Romans 14:11 (NLT)

Prayer

Our Father in heaven, thank You for the promise of living a long, satisfied life. I choose to stay in the game and press forward to fulfill my destiny. I won’t shrink back, give up or lose heart, but I will stand strong in You. Gracious God, thank You for the promise to live a full, satisfied life. Today, I choose to press forward. I choose to shake off mediocrity and disappointments from the past so that I can take hold of every good thing You have in store for me..

Abba Father, thank You for making me. Thank You for equipping me to fulfill my destiny. Today I choose to focus on what You’ve placed in my hand knowing that as I am faithful to You, You will direct my steps. I bless You and praise You for who You are. Even today, Lord, may I see and delight in the beauty of this world. May this draw me near to you with gratitude and wonder. By your Spirit, may I also see the brokenness of the world, not drawing back from that which is painful. Yet, the more we pay attention to the world, the more we see its brokenness as well as its beauty. We wonder if we can know the world as it is and still love it. In this, as in all things, we need your help.

Help me, Lord, I pray, to put first things first. Help me to set aside time each day for prayer and worship. By your Spirit, remind me to acknowledge you when big things happen in my life, even as I live with you each moment of each day. Help me to make you first in my life. Grant me your vision, your compassion. Help me, I pray, to live in the tension of the beautiful and the broken. Help me to know this world truly and to love it, even as you do. To you be all the glory! Amen.

Bible Promise of the Day

God can do the impossible. God promises to deliver things impossible with men

“But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” Luke 18:27

Prayer Quote of the day

To walk after the spirit a believer must inhibit his mind from revolving endlessly. If it turns too long around one topic, worries or grieves too much over matters, and ponders too intensively to know God’s will, it may become unbearable and hamper its normal operation. The mind needs to be kept in a steady and secure state.
