Prayer
Dearest loving Father, I humbly come to You today and invite Your will to be done in my life. I submit every area of my heart to You. Let everything I say and do bring glory to You. Abba Father, thank You for Your Word which strengthens and protects me. Thank You for speaking truth to my heart. Help me to hear Your voice more clearly that I may live a life pleasing to You.
Gracious Father, Help me to be a faithful witness for you. May I live and speak in such a way that people see the success of my life as evidence of your presence and power. May I be humble in heart before you and others, even as I lead with courage that you provide.
Lord, help us, we pray, to take care of and use the resources in this world wisely, in ways guided by you. Teach us to see our whole lives as an opportunity to receive gratefully and to steward faithfully your manifold gifts. In all things, may we live for the praise of your glory. Admittedly, we haven’t always been faithful stewards. Forgive us for all the ways we have failed to make this world fruitful or to care for it well.
Pick me up, Lord, and hold me in Your loving arms. Protect me from the pressures of the day, and remove the heaviness from my heart. Inspire me with the knowledge that You and I together can handle anything. Help me today not to criticize others but to try to see the good in everyone. Help me to be an encourager and not a critic. May others see in me a compassionate person that glorifies You in all that I do and say. Give me a tender heart and a new love for every person I touch with my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, I Pray, Amen
