Father, thank you for your ever abiding presence.

Verse of the Day

“The Lord gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are weighed down. The LORD loves the godly. The LORD protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.”            Psalms 146:7-9 (NLT)

Prayer

Our Father in heaven, I come to You today with an open and humble heart. I know that Your glory is upon me. I thank You for Your favor upon me, and I thank You for Your anointing power which breaks every yoke and moves me into freedom and blessing. Father, today I take the limits off and open my heart to You. I believe Your Word and believe that You have blessing and provision prepared for me. I receive it by faith today.

I pray that you help me to know more deeply who I am because I belong to you and have been called into relationship with you and into your work in the world. Help me to accept the fact that bad things happen to good people, and that bad people are often prosperous. I may not like it now, but I need to keep in mind that one day each of us will receive exactly what he deserves. Help me to learn to spend more time daily in reading Your Word and praying so that I clearly understand what is sin and so that I have a strong defense against the temptation to do sinful things. May my family learn that they need to have this strong defense to protect them. Help me to build my faith daily by meditating in Your Word and praying.

Father, thank you for your ever abiding presence. Thank you for the comfort I find in the fact that You are with me. Today, make me keenly aware that nothing can separate me from You. Help my heart be filled with faith in the reality that You will never leave me or forsake me. We ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Bible Promise of the Day

I will blanket My protection over all who trust in Me. God Promises He Will Protect Those Who Trust In Him

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. – (Psalm 5:11)

Prayer Quote of the day

Ye do well to remember that habitual affectionate communion with God, asking Him for all good which is needed, praising Him for all that is received, and trusting Him for future supplies, prevents anxious cares, inspires peace, calmness and composure, and furnishes a delight surpassing all finite comprehension.
