Verse of the Day
“I love you, LORD; you are my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” Psalms 18:1-2
Prayer
My Dearest loving Father, today I choose to rejoice in You. No matter what my circumstances look like, I know You are greater than my circumstances. I trust that You are working behind the scenes to fulfill every one of Your promises. I give You praise because You are worthy. Thank You for working in my life even when I can’t see it. Lord, thank You for Your love for me. Help me to understand it more fully so I can learn to love You with my whole heart. I bless You and receive Your strength today.
Lord, thank You for choosing me. Thank You for making me a Royal Priest, a chosen person, part of a Holy nation. Help me to live accordingly. I cannot do it by myself. I need Your help, help me I pray. Help me to learn what it means to have an intimate relationship with You. May I open the door of my heart to You so You can come in and abide in me. May the intimacy of my relationship with You make me a shining light for You in a dark and evil world.
Help us Lord to take correct decisions in my life when I am emotionally upset. Help me, Lord, to lead my life wisely. Give me the courage to revisit unwise decisions I have made. Help me to know when I need to step back from something that is stirring up my emotions in an unhelpful way. Teach me to wait upon you. By your grace, may I choose the right course even if this means changing course in front of others. Father, I need to learn to wait graciously and patiently. Fill my heart with peace and give me a spirit of acceptance, that I might know happiness even when things don’t happen fast enough to suit me. Father, help me today to do all that I can to live in peace with everyone. In all that I do today, Lord, may I glorify you. I ask this in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Prayer Quote of the day
Whether we like it or not, asking is the rule of the Kingdom. If you may have everything by asking in His Name, and nothing without asking, I beg you to see how absolutely vital prayer is.
