Prayer
Dearest loving Abba Yahweh, today I choose to set my heart and mind on You. I choose to cast my cares and focus on what’s most important — hearing your voice so I can follow Your ways! Today I declare that I won’t settle for good enough. I won’t settle halfway to Your promises. I choose to stand strong, dig my heels in, and press forward into the Promised Land you have prepared for me. Thank You for blessing me with seed to sow. I choose to be faithful. I choose to obey Your word. I choose to be a giver knowing that You will increase me in every area of life. Thank You for choosing me and using me for your glory. I rest in knowing that my life is in Your hands. I choose to trust, I choose to believe, I choose to walk in Your power knowing that all things are possible with You.
Abba Father, give me the inner-strength that comes from understanding Your great love. Help me draw upon all the power that You have available for me this day. I find it so easy to complain. Forgive me Lord. I find it so hard to trust. I feel stuck. Help me Lord. You know my situation. I can’t move without you. Have mercy on me! Give me a boost, hold your Rod up and part the seas. Help me get moving today and cross on dry ground. Help me serve You with a sincere heart. Forgive me for the many times I have been an imposter, just acting a part so I could win approval. Help me understand Your love for me.
Thank You dear God that You have provided for me salvation for my ruined life. Help me to love and serve You this day to the best of my ability. Take me out of the habit of trying to serve You on my own. Help me to surrender to Your will so You can lead me to accomplish what You want from me today. Thank you Lord for sowing your Word among us. Thank you for helping us to hear, understand, and respond in faith. May our faithful response be something that lasts as we allow your Word to penetrate our hearts. May it grow deep within us so that it might ultimately bear abundant fruit. Fill me with a joy that remains untouched by the trials of the day. When I hear Your name, Lord, let me respond in jubilation. Be the source of my comfort and peace. In the Sweet and mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
