Verse of the Day
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10 (KJV)
Prayer
Dearest loving Abba Yahweh, today I set my heart and focus on You. I choose to ignore the critical voices that would try to distract me from Your plan. Help me to forgive those who come against me and always walk in love so that I can honor You. Thank You for Your faithfulness to me. I know that You will bring to pass every promise You’ve made. I repent for trying things in my own strength and choose to trust wholly in You. Thank You for Your exceeding, abundant promises. I invite You to have Your way in and through me. Show me Your ways that I may walk with You and honor You all the days of my life. I humbly come before You. I choose to be still before You. Speak to my heart so I can know You more. Fill me with Your peace as I put my trust in You.
Lord, thank You for sending Jesus into the world to relate to me on terms that I understand. I need to know that Your love for me is emotional and passionate. Teach me to love others as You love me. Lord, Help me to know You. Help me know Your greatness. Let Your Holy Spirit lead me into a deeper knowledge of You. Today, help me to use the knowledge of Your word in everything I do. Father, use my life. I give it to You in all its complexity and contradictions. Thank You that I do not have to be perfect, just available. Use me for Your glory, I pray.
Lord, I pray for physical healing, healing of mind and heart today. I need greater wholeness in my relationships. I need to be healed of fear and selfishness. Continue, dear Lord, your healing work in my life, so that I might serve you as a wounded healer. Help me to set an example for my family and friends as to what it means to forgive and give my family a spirit of forgiveness to all they meet. Thank you for teaching me to pray as you said: “Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.” Amen.
Bible Promise of the Day
The good things that I have planned for you are too many to count. God Promises His Thoughts Toward Us Are Many and Good
Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be– (Psalm 40:5)
Prayer Quote of the day
Shall I give you yet another reason why you should pray? I have preached my very heart out. I could not say any more than I have said. Will not your prayers accomplish that which my preaching fails to do? Is it not likely that the Church has been putting forth its preaching hand but not its praying hand? Oh dear friends! Let us agonize in prayer.
