Prayer
Dearest Abba, Father, today I humbly come before You giving You all that I am. I trust that my times are in Your hands. I trust that You are working things out in my favor. I set my focus on You knowing that You are working things out for my good. Father God, today I choose to give You thanks in all things! I know that You are a good God, and You have good plans in store for my future. I bless You and thank You for another day to sing Your praise.
Thank you for this grace and for how your grace forms me for the work to which you have called me. I pray for independence and freedom for all of creation, Lord. While we enjoy the great freedom in some part of the world, some cower in fear and trembling. Be with them, Father. I thank you once again for not settling to the level of my expectations for you. Thank you for not accepting my comfort zone as the limit of your work in my life. Help me, Lord, to be open to you, even when it feels unsafe. Help me to seek you and trust you in all things and at all times.
Lord, Forgive me for letting the past cast such a shadow on me. Forgive me for letting the worries of the future keep me from enjoying Your presence today. I come to You now and ask that You would take this day and lead me, guide me and fill me with the reality of Your love and joy. Give me a new spirit of giving. Thank You for the great gift You gave me by dying on the cross paying the penalty for my sins. Help me to give back to You a large portion of the talent, time and resources that You have blessed me with so abundantly. Dear Father, thank You for Your precious mercy toward me. Thank You for Your unfailing love. Thank You for Your amazing grace. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
