Verse of the Day
Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. Matthew 6:12 (NLT)
Prayer
Dearest loving Father in heaven, I choose to trust in Your timing. I choose to follow Your commands. I choose to be faithful because I know that You are faithful. I trust that You have my best in mind. I believe that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Thank You for ordering my steps and leading me in the life of blessing You have in store for me. Thank You for the grace to do exactly what You’ve called me to do. I choose to step out in faith;. I love You and bless You always. Thank You for giving me power to overcome fear. I choose to face fear head-on and drive it out of my life. Show me any areas of my life where fear is holding me back so that I can press forward into the life of victory You have for me.
Loving Father, I come waiting, anticipating all the good that You have for me. Renew my strength, encourage my heart, fill me with Your peace. Today, I will wait on You. I want to live the best life You have planned for me. Today, help me to keep my focus on You and the things that matter the most. Thank You for all the seeds of hope You have helped me plant. I know there will a harvest with shouts of joy. Lord, make me conscious of Your presence so I will put my faith in Your precious promises. The promise that You will watch over me and protect me. The promise that You will keep me from harm. Help me today, to put my full trust in You and open my eyes to Your power and love.
Thank You for giving us Your Word to instruct us as to how we are to live our lives so that we will honor You. Thank You that You never change nor does Your Word. Make my heart receptive to Your instruction for my life. We are grateful, Lord Jesus Christ, that though you were in the form of God, you did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied yourself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, you humbled yourself and became obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross. Therefore, God also highly exalted you and gave you the name that is above every name, so that at your name, Jesus, every knee should bend and every tongue should confess that you are Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Father, help me to really understand the freedom You have given me in Christ. Help me understand what it really means to be free from the power of sin. Help me today live in this new awareness, that my old sinful self is Crucified with Christ. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the High Priest, who is interceding for me before you, I pray. Amen
